Our small setup is located in Anandvan Co. Op. Hsg. Soc, which is right in the heart of Sector-7 in Charkop. If you know Kandivali West, you know how crowded and lively it can get. Being on the seventh floor of the D-2 building gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding buildings, though it is mostly just more rooftops and laundry hanging out. This is a residential society, so there are always kids playing downstairs or people chatting near the gate. We have one of the rooms converted into a workspace where we handle all our daily tasks. It is a tight squeeze sometimes with all the files and the computer equipment, but we make it work. Living and working in the same general area in Mumbai saves a lot of time on travel, which is a blessing given the traffic here. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees, just a few of us trying to keep things organized and running smoothly. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the lift in the building is sometimes a bit slow, but it is home to us. Most of our day is spent at the desks, answering calls and sorting through things. We have been in Charkop for years and like the community here. It is just a regular life and a regular way to run a business without any extra fuss.
