Hindustan Construction

Our office is in Flat B 811 of the Lok Gaurav Appartment on LBS Road in Vikhroli West. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always a lot of noise from the traffic downstairs. Hindustan Construction is based here, but we spend a lot of our time out at different sites around the city. This office is mainly where we handle the blueprints, the payroll, and the general planning. Since it’s an apartment building, it feels a bit more personal than a big glass tower. We have a few desks squeezed into the rooms and a printer that always seems to run out of ink at the worst possible time. The 400 083 area is very convenient for getting to other parts of Mumbai, even if the traffic on LBS Road is a nightmare most days. We don't have a fancy coffee machine or a break room; we just use the small kitchen to make some tea or heat up our lunch. Everyone here wears practical clothes because we never know when we’ll have to run out to a construction site. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks. As long as the plans are accurate and the bills are paid, we’re happy. It’s a bit cramped and the elevator in the building can be slow, but it’s our home base. We just focus on the building projects and keep things moving as best as we can.
