Hindustan Construction Corporation

Hindustan Construction Corporation has its office at 208 Mahinder Chamber, up on the second floor. We are situated right across from where the old Duke's company used to be on W.T. Patil Marg in Chembur. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and you can always hear the traffic moving outside our windows. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now, and it’s become our second home. Most of our day is spent dealing with construction schedules, talking to contractors, and making sure the paperwork for our projects is in order. It’s not always exciting work, and there’s a lot of back-and-forth involved in getting anything built. We don’t really go in for fancy presentations or marketing talk. We’d rather just show up at a site and see how the foundation is looking or if the walls are going up straight. The office is often full of files and old maps of the city because we’ve worked in so many different corners of it over the decades. Chembur is a good base for us since it’s easy to get to different parts of the city from here. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We just do the work, handle the headaches that come with building things, and try to stay on top of our list of tasks for the week without getting too overwhelmed by the deadlines and costs.
