We operate out of 20, Daulat Udyog Bhavan in Wadhavli, which is part of Chembur. Hindhivac Private Limited is a name that sounds technical, and it is, but we are just a group of people who understand vacuum technology. Our workspace isn't a high-tech lab you’d see in a movie. It’s a practical industrial unit where we build and test things. Chembur is a busy area, and being in Daulat Udyog Bhavan means we are surrounded by other small businesses doing their own thing. We spend a lot of time looking at gauges and checking seals. It’s precise work, but we talk about it in plain English. We don’t have a lot of time for corporate meetings. We’d rather be on the floor seeing how a pump is performing. We’ve had some of the same staff for years, and they’ve learned everything on the job. If you come by, you’ll see crates being packed and components being cleaned. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the equipment, but we know where everything is. We don't try to impress anyone with big words. We just make sure the vacuum systems we work on do what they are supposed to do. It’s a niche business, sure, but it’s what we know how to do best. Being in this part of town for so long has made us a staple of the local industrial scene. We like the work we do here. It is a good life.
