Hindalco Industries Ltd

We are located in Room Number 2 of the Devdas Chawl, right near Holimaidhan on the Sion Bandra Link Road in Mumbai. It is a very busy part of the city, and our space is pretty small. If you know the Link Road, you know how much noise and traffic there is outside. Inside the chawl, it is a bit quieter but still very active. We handle some of the ground-level work for Hindalco from here. It is not a big corporate office with air conditioning and elevators. It is just a simple room where we keep our registers and do our daily tasks. We deal with a lot of local workers and people passing through from the Sion and Bandra areas. The walls are a bit thin, so you can always hear the neighbors, and sometimes the rain on the roof is louder than our voices. We have a couple of chairs for visitors and a desk that has seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our days tracking local details and helping with whatever paperwork comes our way. It is a very practical way to work. We are right in the heart of the community, which makes it easy for people to find us. We do not put on any acts here. It is just a small room where we get the work done as best as we can every day. We just take the morning as it comes.
