Hex-Brass Copper & Alloy (I) Ltd. is over on Lamington Road. We are on the 3Rd Floor, Rawal Bldg. No. 2418. That road is always packed with people and traffic, so it’s never really quiet. Being up on the third floor helps a little bit with the noise. It’s an older building, but it works fine for what we do. Dealing with brass and copper involves a lot of lifting and moving heavy crates around. The stairs are narrow, which makes moving things a bit of a challenge, but we get it done. We have been at this address for a long time. Most of our day is spent checking the stock levels or talking to people who need specific metal parts. Copper prices change a lot, so we spend plenty of time on the phone. Our office isn’t huge. It’s mostly just desks and samples of different alloys we have in stock. We keep bins of brass fittings and copper sheets scattered around. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside, but we don't mind. If you come by, you’ll hear the street noise from below. We just handle the trades and the supplies. It’s a very straightforward business. No bells or whistles here. Just us and the metal. We make sure the orders get out, even when the Lamington Road traffic makes it hard for the delivery trucks. It’s just how life goes in this part of town.
