Hewitt Associates

We’re located in Flat 12 at Gypsy Appts, which is in Hiranandani, Powai. Mumbai is a fast-paced city, but things feel a bit different here in our little corner. Hewitt Associates operates out of this apartment, so it’s got a very lived-in feel. We have desks set up where the dining table probably used to be. It’s a bit unusual, but it works for what we do. The view outside isn't bad, and we get some decent breeze if we leave the balcony door open. We spend most of our hours looking at screens or talking on the phone. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls and leather chairs. We have plastic chairs and old wooden desks that have seen better days. Sometimes the elevator in the building gets stuck, so we end up taking the stairs, which is good exercise anyway. We don't have a formal dress code or anything. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable for the heat. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going. The neighborhood is quite nice, with plenty of places to grab a quick snack when we have the time. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just focus on our tasks and try to keep our clients satisfied with the work we produce. It’s a simple, honest way to earn a living in this big city.
