Heroes Restaurant

We are located at Shop No 14 in Chembur East, right on R C Marg. Most people find us because we are directly opposite Navjeevan Society and just a door down from Mas Decor. It is a busy part of Mumbai, so there is always noise from the street and people walking by at all hours. We open up the shop every morning and start getting the kitchen ready for the day. The space isn't huge, but we make it work for the lunch and dinner crowds that come in. It gets pretty humid in this part of town, so the fans are always going. We don't really do much in terms of fancy advertising, mostly people just see the sign when they are heading down R C Marg. Managing a restaurant in Chembur means dealing with the local deliveries and making sure the supplies arrive on time through the traffic. Our staff lives nearby, so we are all pretty familiar with the neighborhood and the people who live in the society across the way. It’s just a regular local spot where we serve food and try to keep the tables clean. Some days are faster than others, especially when there is a lot of movement on the street outside. We spend our afternoons prepping for the evening rush and cleaning up the prep area. It is a lot of standing on your feet and making sure the orders go out. We just keep things moving and focus on the work right in front of us without making things more complicated than they need to be.
