Hemkunt Electronics is at 17, Unique Ind. Estate, right opposite Jawahar Talkies in Mulund(W). Having the talkies right there is great because everyone knows it as a landmark. We’ve been in the electronics business for a good while, and this spot in the industrial estate has been our home through all of it. The shop is filled with components, wires, and various gadgets. It might look disorganized to someone walking in off the street, but we know exactly where every single fuse and board is kept. Mulund is a nice place to work, even if the industrial estate is a bit old now. We get a lot of regulars who come in because they know we’ve been here forever. We don't have a mission or a fancy philosophy. We just fix things and sell parts. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit around and talk, and other times it’s a mad rush to get a repair done. We don't use any corporate lingo or try to sound bigger than we are. We’re just Hemkunt Electronics. The building is simple, the sign is a bit faded, and the tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. It’s a decent life. If you need us, just look for the sign across from Jawahar Talkies and come on in. We’re usually there from morning until the late evening, making sure we get through the pile of work on the bench.
