My place is over at Lohia Sadan, right in the thick of things near Vitthal Wadi and the New Bazar. It’s a busy part of the city, especially with M G Road and Zaveri Bazar so close by. You can hear the crowds and the commerce going on all day long. I’ve been working from this spot for a while, dealing with the daily ins and outs of the market. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between different shops and talking to people about prices. The building, Lohia Sadan, has seen a lot of years, and my space inside is just enough for what I need to do. I don't have a fancy showroom or anything. It's mostly just me, some ledgers, and a lot of phone calls. Being near Zaveri Bazar means there’s always something happening and people are always in a rush. I try to keep a calm head even when the market gets hectic. Sometimes I just stand outside for a minute to watch the chaos on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road. It’s a good location for staying connected to what’s happening in the trade. My day starts early and usually ends late, depending on how much business is moving through the bazaar. It's not a complicated life, but it keeps me on my toes. You learn a lot about people when you work in a place like this every single day. I guess that's just the way it goes here in the city.
