If you are looking for me, I am over at 703/B-Wing, Gokul Vihar, in the Thakur Complex. That’s in Kandivali East, Mumbai. My name is Hemalshah, and this is where I handle my day-to-day business. Thakur Complex is a busy neighborhood with lots of families and small shops, so there is always something going on outside. My office is just a room in the building, nothing too fancy. I have my files, my computer, and a good view of the street below. Most of my work involves a lot of coordination and talking to people on the phone. Kandivali can be quite a trek if you are coming from South Mumbai, but it’s a good place to live and work. I like that I can walk to most places I need to go. I’ve been doing this for a while now, and I’ve learned that the best way to keep things running is just to stay on top of the small details. I don’t have a big team or a lot of expensive equipment. It’s just me and the work. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when too many things happen at once, but that’s just part of the job. I don’t try to pretend to be a big corporation.
