Hema Parekh

I've been based here on the Mumbai Pune Road for quite a while now. Specifically, you can find me around Cumballa Hill. It's a busy part of the city, and the traffic outside can get pretty loud during rush hour, but inside it’s mostly just quiet work. I started Hema Parekh as a way to handle things directly without much fuss. People often ask if it's hard being right here on Road 2, but you get used to the pace of it. The office isn't anything fancy or huge. It’s just a practical space where I get things done and meet people who need a bit of help with their projects. Most days I’m just at my desk. There’s a tea stall not too far away that makes the morning better. Sometimes the monsoon makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but we manage. I try to keep things straightforward. If you’re passing through the area or living nearby, you’ve probably seen the sign. It’s been a steady place for us over the years. I don’t really go for big speeches or polished websites. Just a desk, some files, and regular hours from Monday to Friday. Life in Mumbai and Pune keeps you on your toes, and this little spot in Cumballa Hill is where everything happens for me. It’s not a corporate tower, just a room where the work actually gets finished and people are treated fairly.
