Our office is up on the 5th floor of Sai Chambers. If you know Narsi Natha Street in Masjid, you know how crowded it gets with all the trucks and loaders moving goods around. It’s a noisy part of Mumbai, but once you get inside the building and take the lift up, it gets a bit quieter. We spend most of our day handling the paperwork and transactions that come through this busy trading hub. The 400009 area is always moving, and we’re right in the middle of it. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a spot for people in the market to drop in. Sometimes the lift in Sai Chambers takes a minute, so you have to be patient. We have a small team here. Most of us take the train into Masjid station and walk over. It's a short walk but you have to dodge a lot of handcarts. The space is filled with files and computers, and we usually have the tea man coming by twice a day. It’s practical work. We don't have fancy lounge chairs or anything like that. Just a place where the business of the street gets sorted out on paper and screens. It’s been our base for a good bit of time now, and we’re used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. We just keep the records straight and do what needs doing to keep the day moving forward.
