Our workplace is at 204 Raman in the Tifr Housing Colony. Mumbai is a city that never really stops, but inside the colony, things feel a little more settled. We are Hdfc Bank Ltd, and this branch serves the people living and working around this specific part of the 400005 area. It is not a massive headquarters, just a functional space where we handle the accounts. We spend our days going through transactions, talking to residents, and making sure the banking side of their lives runs okay. The office is pretty standard for a housing colony bank. We have our desks and the computers, and there is usually a stack of papers somewhere that needs sorting. Being in the Tifr area means we see a lot of regular visitors who are part of the community there. We try to be helpful without making things more complicated than they need to be. If there is a problem with a card or a deposit, we just look into it and see what can be done. It is a quiet kind of work most days, though it picks up at the end of the month. We like the location because it is close to where everything is happening but feels a bit more personal. It is just us here, keeping the books balanced and helping out our neighbors with their money stuff in a simple, direct way. We do not need anything fancy to get the job done right.
