In Mumbai, everything is always moving fast. We are at the Transit Camp, in Block No: 5, Room No: C9. Hcl Infosystem Ltd operates from this little corner of the city. It’s a very humble setup, just a room in the block, but it serves us well for what we do. Being in a transit camp means there is always something going on outside. There are people everywhere and the sounds of the city never really stop. We have our workspace organized so we can handle the tech issues that come our way. It’s not a large space, so we have to keep it tidy. We don't have any receptionists or big waiting areas. If someone comes by, they just see us working. That’s the way we like it because it keeps things honest. The room C9 is where we keep all our gear. We’ve been in Mumbai long enough to know how to navigate the local train schedules and the rain. During the monsoon, things get a bit damp, but we keep the equipment safe. It’s just a regular job for us, fixing what needs fixing and keeping the systems running. People in the block know who we are. We don’t need a big sign. The work we do speaks for itself and we just take it one day at a time. Every morning we show up and just get into the rhythm of the work.
