Harsha Ratnani

This is basically where I do all my work, up here on the first floor of the Queens building in Santacruz West. It’s flat number 13. It’s not really a traditional office setup, more like a space where I can focus and get things sorted. I’ve lived and worked around this part of Mumbai for a while now. The building is older, but it has its charm, even if the stairs are a bit narrow. People usually call before they come over because it’s a residential block mostly. I keep my desk near the window so I can see what’s happening on the street below while I'm on calls or looking at paperwork. Harsha Ratnani is just me, really. I handle the daily tasks myself, from answering emails to organizing files. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway, so it gets a bit loud, but it’s a nice community feel. I don’t use any fancy systems, just my laptop and a few notebooks that are scattered around. It’s a quiet way to earn a living without the stress of a big corporate commute. Most of my clients are regulars who know exactly where to find me. I keep some plants on the balcony to make the place feel less like a workspace. It works for me and it’s been this way for a few years now. Nothing too complicated about it. I just try to keep things moving along smoothly each day.
