Harsh Hall

Our place is called Harsh Hall and you can find it at Plot No 391, in the Parna Kutir building. We are located in Vile Parle West, right across from where the Pawan Hans helicopters are based. You can often hear the engines taking off or landing while we are working inside the hall. It is a very familiar sound for us by now. The address is 400056, and being in Vile Parle means there are always people moving about outside. We spend a lot of our time moving chairs around and cleaning the floor to get the space ready for whatever is happening next. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when there’s a big gathering and we have to set everything up quickly. The space at Parna Kutir is used for all sorts of things, and we just try to keep it tidy and functional. Sometimes the street outside gets a bit jammed with cars, especially being so close to the helicopter base, but that’s just how life is in this part of Mumbai. We don't have a big office, just the hall itself and a small area where we keep our cleaning supplies and spare furniture. Most days involve checking the lights and making sure the fans are working properly. We see a lot of different faces coming through the doors for various reasons. It’s a straightforward job, mostly just managing the space and being around when people have questions.
