Our office for Hamilton Houseware Pvt. Ltd. is up on the fourth floor of the Asian Building. It’s located on R. Kamani Marg, right in the Ballard Estate area of South Mumbai. It’s an old building, like a lot of the ones around here, which gives it a bit of character even if the walls need a bit of paint. We spend our time here managing the business side of things for the houseware items many people use every day in their kitchens. The elevators are sometimes a bit slow or out of order, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. Inside the office, it’s mostly just rows of desks, computers, and stacks of papers that need filing. It’s not one of those modern places with bright colors or open spaces. We just have our workstations and a lot of samples of flasks or containers sitting around on the shelves. Being in Ballard Estate means there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by outside. We can hear the city noise even from the fourth floor, especially the car horns. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and it feels like a second home to the staff who work here. We aren't trying to be the trendiest company in the city. We just focus on getting the products out to the stores and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. It's a lot of coordination. We've been in Cst South Mibail for years.
