Haji Ahmed Co is right in the heart of Bhuleshwar. Our address is at Sant Sena Maharaj Marg, specifically in Sant Sena Bhuvan, Kapul Niwas. We are also near R M Roy Marg. If you have ever been to Bhuleshwar, you know it is a very old part of Mumbai with very narrow streets and a lot of history. Our office is in one of those old buildings that has been around forever. The walls are thick and the ceilings are high, but the space itself is quite small. It’s always noisy outside with the handcarts and the people shopping in the markets. We have been here for a long time and we are used to the chaos. Inside, we have old wooden desks and stacks of ledgers and papers. We don't use much fancy technology, just the basics to keep our records straight. It can get very humid, and the smell of the market—spices, flowers, and everything else—drifts in through the windows. We know all the other business owners on the street. It’s a very traditional way of working. We open up, do our business, talk to the people who stop by, and then close up when the market starts to quiet down. It’s a simple life in a very busy part of the city. We don't see any need for a modern office when this place has so much character.
