Gulmurg Restaurant

You can find Gulmurg Restaurant inside The Shalimar Hotel. We are located on August Kranti Marg, right in the Kemps Corner area of Mumbai. It’s a busy part of the city, especially with Litolier Shopping Mall just a short walk away. Being part of a hotel means we see a lot of different people coming through the doors every day. Some are staying upstairs and others just come in from the street for a quick bite. We aren't trying to be the trendiest spot in Mumbai, just a place where you can sit down and eat. The staff here has been around for a long time. We know the rhythms of Kemps Corner, the way the traffic picks up in the afternoon and how it gets a bit quieter late at night. The 400006 area is quite well-known, and we’ve been a part of it for quite some time now. We just focus on the food and making sure the tables are wiped down properly. There’s no big secret to what we do. We just open up, cook what’s on the menu, and try to keep things moving. August Kranti Marg is always humming with noise, but inside the restaurant, it feels a bit more settled. It’s a job like any other, keeping the kitchen running and the customers served. We’re just here doing our thing day after day, year after year, without much fuss. It is just how things go for us on this corner of the city.
