People around here know us as Gudnet Computers, and we’ve been working out of this spot for quite a while now. Our official record lists the address as Mratika Yahoo Com Ratika Metangale Vom, which I know looks a bit like a computer error, but those are just the names associated with our setup. We mostly deal with hardware repairs and fixing things that people accidentally break. It might be a cracked laptop screen or a desktop that’s running way too slow for anyone to use. The office isn’t the tidiest place in the world because there are always tangled wires and spare parts lying around on our workbenches. We have some shelves filled with old monitors and keyboards that we keep around just in case we need a specific part for a fix. It’s a small operation, really. Ratika usually handles a lot of the emails and communication while the rest of us are busy with the screwdrivers and new software installs. It’s just how things go in a small neighborhood tech shop. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy storefront. People mostly find us through word of mouth or if they live nearby and happen to see us working. Some days are slow and we just sit around and talk about new gadgets, but other days everyone seems to have a computer emergency at the same time. We try to get through the repair list as fast as we can manage. It’s a decent living.
