Gudia Gift Papers

You can find us at Shop No 46 in Sutar Chawl. We are right across from the Central Shopping Centre near Akshar Chowk in Kalbadevi. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always crowded and full of energy. Gudia Gift Papers is a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. There are rolls and sheets of paper stacked almost to the ceiling in some corners. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside. We’ve been in this market for years. Every morning we open up the shutters and start organizing the new stock. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around so people can see what’s available. The street outside is never quiet, with handcarts and people pushing past each other. We don’t have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. Most of our regulars just stop by because they’ve been coming here forever. The shop feels a bit cramped, but that’s just how it is in Kalbadevi. We try to keep things organized, but with so much paper, it’s a constant battle. It’s a simple business. We sell paper, we talk to the neighbors, and we deal with the daily chaos of the market. It’s hard work but it’s what we know how to do.
