Greens Restaurant & Bar

We have been here on V P Road for a while now. If you know Lamington Road, you know it gets really busy with all the shops and people looking for electronics. Greens Restaurant & Bar sits right across from the old Imperial Cinema. It’s hard to miss once you get past the YMCA building. Most days, it’s just us trying to keep things running smoothly for the folks coming in from the heat. Mumbai can be a lot, especially around 400004 where everything feels like it’s moving at once. We’re right there near Saidham, which is a big landmark for anyone getting lost. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have anything fancy to say about what we do, it’s just a place to sit and have something. People come in after a long day of work or maybe before a show back when the cinema was different. Being next to the YMCA means we see a lot of different faces every day. Some people have been coming here for years, and others just stumble in because they’re in the area for repairs. We just keep the doors open and do our part on Lamington Road. It’s a bit noisy outside with the traffic, but inside it stays okay. Not much more to it than that. We just stay busy and hope the food is what people need when they finally sit down.
