We’ve been here in Mumbai for quite a while now. Grand Govt College is located in the 400008 area, and most of the locals know where the building stands. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular government setup where students come every day to get their work done and attend classes. There is always a lot of noise from the street outside, but inside, things are usually moving along at their own pace. The halls are wide and a bit echoey, and you’ll see people carrying files or sitting on the benches between their lectures. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get inside before the first bell. We have a lot of different departments spread across the floors, and honestly, sometimes it takes a bit of walking to find the right office. The staff handles the paperwork as best as they can, even when it gets crowded during admission season. There’s a small area where students hang out during breaks, just talking or checking their notes. The building has that old Mumbai feel to it, with thick walls and high ceilings that help a bit with the heat. People from all over the city come here, taking the bus or the train to reach us. It’s just a place where education happens without any extra fuss or glitter. We try to keep things organized, but like any big college, it can get a little messy sometimes.
