The Purple Desk

You can find us at Unit No. 7 in Aarey Milk Colony, over in the Shivaji Nagar area of Goregaon. The Purple Desk isn't your typical glass-and-steel office building. Being out here near the colony gives the place a different feel, a bit more grounded and less frantic than the middle of the city. We set this up because we wanted a place where people could actually get things done without the usual corporate vibe. It’s a practical workspace. We’ve got desks, chairs, and enough light to see what you’re doing. It’s a bit of a walk from the main transport links, but that’s part of the charm for some people who like the quiet. We don't put on airs here. It’s just a room where work happens. Sometimes it’s quiet enough to hear yourself think, and other days there’s a bit of a buzz. We’ve seen all sorts of freelancers and small teams come through these doors. Most people stay for a while because it’s simple and it works. We handle the basic stuff like keeping the place clean and making sure the electricity stays on. There isn't a fancy reception or a coffee bar with a professional barista. If you want tea, you usually just make it yourself or head to the local stall nearby. It’s a humble setup, but it serves its purpose for the folks in Goregaon. We just focus on providing a decent spot for work.
