Computech India is situated at No. 230 in the Aashirwad Industrial Estate. We are in unit number 5 on Ram Mandir Road over in Goregaon West. Being in an industrial estate in Mumbai means it is always noisy and there is always something being moved around on a trolley. We have been here in Goregaon for quite some time now. Our workspace is filled with old monitors, cables, and various computer parts that we use for our daily tasks. We aren't a big flashy IT firm with bean bags and glass walls. We are more of a hands-on shop where we actually open up the machines. People bring in their computers when they stop working or when they need something specific replaced. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and testing. The area 400104 is a busy zip code with a lot of small businesses like ours tucked away in these buildings. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit difficult to get things delivered on time, but that’s just how it goes here in Maharashtra. We know the other shop owners in the estate, and we often grab tea from the stall downstairs. It’s a very grounded way of working. We deal with hardware, software, and whatever else comes through the door. It’s steady work and we enjoy the technical puzzles that come with every different machine. It’s not about being the biggest, just about making sure the computers actually work when they leave.
