We operate Goradia Services For Ndt out of a few different spots, but you can usually find us around Kandivali West or near the Chandapura Anekal Road area in Kawala Hoshalli. Our main setup is over at 1 B Parekh Nagar, which is close to Swami Viveka. NDT work is pretty specific, so we spend a lot of time traveling to different sites to check on things. The equipment we use is heavy and a bit sensitive, so we have to be careful how we pack it in the van. The office isn't much to look at. It’s mostly just a place to store our gear and write up the reports after a long day in the field. Sometimes we’re working in loud factories or out on construction sites where it’s dusty and hot. It’s not a desk job, that’s for sure. My partner and I started this after working for bigger firms and realizing we wanted to do things our own way. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just get calls from people who need their materials tested and we show up. The hours are long and sometimes we have to work weekends if a project is behind schedule. It’s just how it is in this line of work. We try to be honest about what we find and keep things moving for the clients. It takes a lot of patience to get the readings right, but we don't mind the extra time.
