Goojar Mal Ganpat Rai & Company is located on the ground floor of East West Court, at number 4. We’re right there on Colaba Coureway, which is probably one of the busiest streets you could find. There is always a crowd outside, mostly tourists and people looking for a bargain. Our office is a bit of an escape from all that noise. It’s an older building with high ceilings and that specific smell of old paper and wood. We’ve been here for a very long time, and the place has a lot of history. We handle a variety of trading and business matters from this small office. It’s often packed with ledgers and files because we still like to keep things on paper sometimes. We aren't into the whole modern corporate look. The furniture is old, and the floors are worn down from years of people walking in and out. It’s a comfortable place for us to work. Being in Colaba means we see all sorts of people every day. Sometimes it’s hard to get anything done with the distractions outside, but we’ve managed for years. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, focusing on our clients and the day-to-day tasks that keep the company going. We don’t have a big mission statement; we just show up at East West Court and get to work. It’s a simple life in a very busy part of Mumbai.
