Goldline Careers

We are based over in the Sion GIDC Colony at 15 B 2. It is mostly an industrial and commercial area, so there are always people moving around looking for work or businesses trying to find new staff. Our daily routine involves looking through a lot of resumes and talking to people who are trying to find their next job. It is not always an easy task because sometimes the skills people have do not match what the companies are asking for. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting people who drop by the office to ask about any current openings. The office itself is quite plain, just a few chairs and desks with computers and some filing cabinets. We try to keep track of who is hiring in the local area and what kind of roles are available this week. Some days are slow, and other days the phone will not stop ringing with questions. We hear all sorts of stories from people about why they want to change their careers or where they hope to work in the future. It is honest work, and we just try to be helpful without making any big promises we cannot keep. Being in the GIDC colony means we are right in the middle of where many of these industrial jobs are located. We do not have any flashy signs, just a small board so people can find the right door.
