Golden Souls

Being up on the 6th floor of the Wilswa building in Andheri East means we see a lot of the city from our windows, even if it’s just the tops of other buildings and the tracks. Golden Souls is tucked away in Flat No 603, so it’s not like a shop on the street where people just wander in by accident. You have to know we are here. Being so close to the Andheri East railway station means there is always this background hum of the trains and thousands of people moving around down on M G Road. It can get a bit hectic trying to get into the building during the morning rush. Inside the office, things are usually a bit quieter. We just go about our work, handling whatever comes our way that day. There’s a lot of paperwork usually, and the phone rings more than I’d sometimes like it to. We don’t have a big corporate team or anyone in suits. It’s just us in here, trying to stay organized and get things done before the sun goes down. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up and we have to wait a while, which gives us a chance to chat with the neighbors from the other floors. It’s a pretty typical Mumbai workspace, a bit cramped maybe, but we’ve made it work for us over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the job as best as we can.
