Golden Leaf Banquet

Golden Leaf Banquet is located on the 5th floor of Link House in Malad West. We are right across from the Icchapurti Hanuman Temple, which is a big landmark for anyone coming through the Chincholi Bunder Signal. The 400064 area is always packed with people and cars, so it’s a lively place to be. Since we are on the 5th floor, you get a bit away from the street noise, though you can still hear the signal traffic sometimes. We’ve been running the banquet hall for a while, and it’s a lot of work keeping such a big space in order. We don’t have a fancy marketing team; we just make sure the floors are swept and the lights are working. It’s a straightforward space for people to use. Sometimes the elevators in Link House can be a bit slow when everyone is trying to go up at once, but that’s just life in a busy Mumbai building. We spend most of our time setting up for whatever is happening next. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like being part of the Malad community. Being right by the temple means people can find us easily enough. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and try to keep things running as smoothly as we can without overcomplicating things. There is always a lot to do, but we just get on with it and keep the doors open.
