God Gift

Started God Gift in the PMGP Colony because this area is always full of life. It is a busy spot here in Sion, right on the Dharavi Depot Road where the buses and people are constantly moving. My family has been around here for a long time. The shop itself is not huge, but we keep what people need on the shelves. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic outside, but that is just how Mumbai is. We open up early because the commuters start their day early. It is hard work, for sure. We do not have any fancy lights or a massive sign, just the name God Gift painted on the front. Most people know where we are already. Usually, neighbors stop by for a quick chat while they are walking to the station. We try to keep things organized, but on the busy days, stuff tends to pile up in the corners. It is a bit of a squeeze inside 6A/702. Most days I am here until late in the evening. The old ceiling fan makes a bit of noise, but it keeps us cool enough when the sun is out. If you are coming from the Sion side, you just head down toward the depot and we are right there. It is not a polished corporate office, just a practical place where we get things done. I have seen the colony change a lot over the years.
