Goa Portuguesa

We are Goa Portuguesa, located on T H Kataria Marg in Mahim. Our place is right across from the Mahim Head Post Office. It’s near Shivaji Park too, which is a very famous spot in Mumbai. The address is 400016. We’ve been here in Mahim for a long time. This neighborhood has changed a lot, but we are still here on the same corner. It’s a busy part of town with lots of cars and people moving around all the time. We aren’t one of those new, shiny places you see in the malls. We are just a regular restaurant on a street in Mumbai. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen. The post office across the street is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. We see all kinds of people, from locals to those who travel from other parts of the city. It’s a lot of work to keep things going. We don't use fancy words to describe ourselves. We just do our job every day. The building is old, and the street is loud, but it’s our home. We are just a part of the Mahim community. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, but we stay open. It’s just an honest place where we serve food. We like being near Shivaji Park. It feels like we are in the heart of the city and we just keep the doors open for anyone.
