Goa Portuguesa Restobar

Goa Portuguesa Restobar is located on T.H. Kataria Road. We are right across from the Mahim area, near the Hinduja Hospital. It’s a busy part of town, 400016, so there’s always noise and traffic outside our doors. We’ve been serving food and drinks here for quite a while now. It’s a bit of a mix of things, trying to bring a bit of that Goa feel to this part of the city. The place has its own character. It’s not one of those modern, sterile places. It feels lived-in. We have a lot of old wooden furniture and decorations that have been around since we opened. The staff knows the menu by heart because they’ve been here so long. Sometimes it gets really packed, and the service might take a minute longer, but we do our best. We aren't a corporate chain. It’s more of a family-run kind of vibe, even if it’s a restobar. We just want people to sit down and have a decent meal. We don't put much stock in flashy marketing. Most people find us because they were visiting the hospital nearby or they live in Mahim and wanted something different. It’s a practical business. We open up, we prep the kitchen, and we wait for the first customers to walk in. That’s our day, every day. It’s honest work and we like being part of the neighborhood.
