Gm Designs Contracts is located in Jogeshwari West, specifically at Studio 1 in Thakur Heritage Thak. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know it is a place where things are always being built, moved, or fixed. Our studio is a real working space, so it is usually covered in drawings, material samples, and maybe a bit of dust from the latest project site. Thakur Heritage Thak is a busy spot, and we fit right in with the general noise of the neighborhood. We don’t have a glossy showroom with bright lights and fancy carpets. It is more of a place where we sit down with our rulers and pens to figure out how a project is actually going to work. The walls are covered with sketches and notes we have scribbled during quick meetings. Sometimes we are out on a site for most of the day, so the studio sits quiet until we get back in the late afternoon. It is a small team here, and we handle everything from the first rough idea to the final contract papers. Jogeshwari can be a bit chaotic with the trains and the heavy traffic, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We grab tea from the stall downstairs and usually eat our lunch while looking over some blueprints. It is not a corporate life with HR departments and long meetings. We just focus on the designs and the actual work of contracting. It is a practical, hands-on business.
