We are tucked away in apartment 401 of the Swami Jairam building. If you know the Chembur police station, we are right across from it. It's a busy part of Chembur, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out. The office itself isn't much to look at, just a few desks and some old chairs we’ve had for years. Sometimes the elevator works, sometimes it doesn’t, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. You get used to the noise from the street after a while. Most days, it’s just the three of us here working through whatever pile of papers is on the desk. We don’t have a big fancy sign outside or anything. Usually, people find us because they know the area or saw the address on a piece of mail. There’s a tea stall around the corner that we visit way too often. The guy there knows exactly how we like it. It’s a pretty simple setup. We spend a lot of time just chatting about the weather or how the traffic was coming in. It’s not a corporate skyscraper or anything, just a regular room in an apartment complex where we get our work done. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. It feels like home most of the time. We keep the windows open for a breeze.
