Globe Restaurant

Globe Restaurant has been sitting here on S V Road for quite some time. We are at number 243, which is right in the Grant Road area of Mumbai. If you know where Alankar Cinema is, we are basically right near there. It’s a busy part of the city, 400007, and there is always something going on outside our doors. We open up early and stay open until things quiet down at night. The restaurant isn't anything too fancy, just a place where people can come in and eat. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. Dealing with the Mumbai heat and the crowds on S V Road can be a lot, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just focus on the kitchen and making sure the tables are ready for whoever walks in. It’s a family-style environment, really. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that, just us working the floor and the kitchen. Sometimes the orders get backed up when it's crowded, but we do what we can to keep things moving. Living and working near Grant Road means you meet all sorts of people. We’ve been at this location for a long time and don’t plan on going anywhere. It’s just a regular local spot for food. You can usually find one of us hanging around near the entrance or helping out in the back.
