Globconverinc Technology System is based in Dadar West, right inside The Ruby building on S B Marg. We are situated on Level 9 in the Northwest Wing, sharing some space with BDO India LLP. Being in a place like The Ruby is interesting because it’s a very modern building in a very traditional part of Mumbai. The commute to Dadar is always an adventure, but being so central is handy. Our part of the office is pretty straightforward. We have our workstations set up and we spend most of our time dealing with technology systems. It’s a professional environment but we keep things relaxed among ourselves. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. It’s just technical work that requires a lot of attention to detail. From the ninth floor, you get a good sense of how big the city is, but we stay focused on what’s happening on our own desks. We aren't a massive firm with thousands of people. It’s more of a focused group where everyone contributes. We deal with the usual office stuff like meetings that go too long and deadlines that come too fast. It’s a regular job in a nice building, and we just try to do the work properly without making a big deal out of it. It is what it is, and we like it that way.
