We are located over in Bhandup West, specifically in the Dreams complex on LBS Marg. If you've ever traveled through Mumbai, you know how busy LBS Marg gets at almost any hour of the day. Our spot in 1B 1608 is quite a ways up, so we get a decent view of the traffic moving below, which is almost like watching a slow river of cars. Being at Global Consulting Practice at Tata Consultancy Services sounds big, but inside these four walls, it’s just a group of people working away on their laptops. The Bhandup area has its own energy, different from the quiet suburbs. It’s a bit of a trek for those of us coming from the station, especially during the monsoon when the roads get messy. The office is practical. We have our coffee machine, which is probably the most used thing here besides the computers. We don't have those minimalist designs you see in magazines. It’s a bit cluttered with papers and cables, but we know where everything is. The lifts in the building can be slow during the morning rush, so we’ve learned to be patient. It’s a hardworking atmosphere, but we still find time to complain about the heat or talk about where to get the best snacks nearby. It’s just a regular Mumbai workspace where the grind never really stops and people just focus on getting things done.
