Global Alloys

Chembur is a busy suburb, and R. C. Marg is right in the thick of it. Global Alloys is located at 4, Manoharvilla, which is near the 445/46 block. The building is easy to find, though parking around here is always a bit of a gamble. Our office is a straightforward setup where we manage the logistics of alloy trading. There are always a few samples of different metals sitting on the desks, used as paperweights more often than not. The room is bright enough during the day, but we keep the blinds drawn to stop the afternoon sun from making it too hot. We have a small pantry where the kettle is always on. Most of us take the train to get here, so the first few minutes of the morning are usually spent cooling down and catching our breath. The work involves a lot of phone calls to suppliers and checking the daily rates. We don't really have a corporate vibe. It’s more like a group of people who have worked together for a long time and know each other’s habits. Sometimes the internet goes down, and we all just take a break until it comes back up. Outside, the traffic on R. C. Marg never seems to let up, providing a constant hum that we’ve all learned to tune out. It’s a decent place to spend the day, and we try to keep things moving along without too much fuss.
