Gift World

Gift World is located at number 7 on Church Road, right across from the church in Singh Estate. It’s part of Thakur Village in Kandivali East, which is always a lively place to be. We have a lot of stuff packed into this little shop. Walk inside and you'll see shelves full of everything from birthday cards to small toys and decorative items for the home. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when we get a lot of stock in, and I often have boxes sitting in the aisles while I try to find a place for everything. My family helps out with the shop, and we’re usually here from morning until late evening. It’s a local spot where people stop by when they’ve forgotten a birthday or need a quick present for a party. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a neighborhood store where you can find something decent without having to go to a big mall. The street outside gets quite busy, especially on Sundays because of the church. We see a lot of regular faces from around Thakur Village. Sometimes we run out of wrapping paper or the power trips, but we just keep going. It’s a small business, and we like the fact that we know most of our customers by name. It’s just us doing our thing every day and keeping the shelves as full as we can.
