We’ve been here in Goregaon East at 1501 for a while now. Most people know the area is busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. It’s a small place, honestly. We mostly just keep things that people might need for a birthday or a quick anniversary surprise. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the shelves. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down where we get our morning chai, and that’s usually how the day starts. We don’t have fancy displays or anything. It’s just shelves full of stuff like mugs, frames, and little trinkets. My nephew helps out on the weekends when it gets crowded. Customers usually come in looking for something specific but end up browsing for twenty minutes because we have so many small things tucked away in corners. It’s not a big corporate showroom, just a local spot where you can find a gift without having to go all the way to a mall. The lights flickered last week and we had to get the electrician in, so things were a bit messy for a day. We try to keep it organized, but with new stock coming in every Tuesday, there’s always a box sitting in the middle of the floor somewhere. It’s just how it is here in Goregaon. We open up around ten and stay until the market closes, nothing too complicated about it.
