Gift Palace

We are tucked away in B-66 Vasant Sagar Krishna, over on Nepean Sea Road in Kandivali East. It is a nice enough spot, though it can get a bit quiet during the middle of the hot day. We have been running this gift shop for quite a while now. The name says Gift Palace, but we are really just a local store with a lot of variety on the shelves. We have things for kids, items for the home, and little trinkets that people like to give for weddings or housewarmings. The shelves are quite full, so you really have to take your time looking around the corners near the Thak area. Kandivali East has grown a lot since we started, and we have seen many new buildings go up around us. We still get the same families coming in, though. It is nice when someone who came here as a small child now brings their own kids to pick out a birthday toy. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept in the back. The Vasant Sagar area is a good community to be part of. We try to keep things that are useful and not just plastic junk. It is a simple business at the end of the day. We open the shutters in the morning, dust the shelves, and wait for the neighbors to stop by.
