My Ceramics

If you drive down the Eastern Express Highway in Mumbai, you might pass right by us without noticing. My Ceramics is tucked away at C-7 Ramabai Colony, right on the service road. It’s a bit of a dusty spot because of all the traffic constantly moving on the highway nearby. We’ve been here for a while, surrounded by boxes of tiles and stacks of ceramic goods. The noise from the cars never really stops, but after a few months, you stop hearing it. Inside the shop, it’s a bit more peaceful. We spend our days moving heavy boxes and showing people different patterns. It’s hard work on the back, lifting those crates all day. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. It’s more of a practical place where you find what you need and get on with your project. Sometimes we sit out front on the service road when it’s slow, just watching the Mumbai traffic go by. We deal with all sorts of people, from contractors to homeowners who just want to fix a small patch in their kitchen. We don’t have a big sales pitch. We just tell them what we have in stock and what might work best for their budget. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. Just a local shop trying to stay busy on the edge of the highway.
