Gennex Manpower Services

Gennex Manpower Services is located over in the Borosil Co Ophousing Society. It’s a bit of a specific spot in Mumbai, right in that 400059 pin code area in Maharashtra. We started this because we saw a lot of people looking for work and companies needing hands. It’s not a huge office with glass walls or anything like that. We are tucked away in a residential society which actually makes it feel more like home than a cold office block. Sometimes the neighbors complain if it gets too crowded in the lobby, so we try to keep things quiet. We spend our days looking at resumes and calling people. The fan in the main room makes a bit of a clicking sound but we stopped noticing it months ago. Dealing with manpower means you talk to a lot of different personalities every day. Some are happy, some are stressed out. We just try to listen and see where they might fit. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking details on a computer screen that needs a good cleaning. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that is usually the highlight of our afternoon. We aren't trying to change the world here, just helping folks find a way to earn a living while we earn ours too. It is honest work and the commute isn't too bad if you time it right.
