Genexco

Genexco is located at 104 Guruchhaya, right on 90 Ft. Road in the Gawanpada area of Mulund East. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy these main roads can get, and 90 Ft. Road is no exception. There is always a lot of noise from the traffic and the shops nearby, but once you step inside the building, it quietens down a little. We are on the first floor, which is convenient because the stairs aren't too much of a climb if the lift is being slow again. Mulund East has a very different feel compared to the West side; it feels a bit more like an old-school neighborhood. We have been in this spot for some time now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down where most of us head when we need a break from the screens. The office itself is pretty simple—just the basic furniture and whatever we need to get through the day's list. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. It’s more about having a reliable space where we can show up and do what needs doing. The local station isn't too far away, so the commute is manageable for most of the staff. It’s a straightforward, honest kind of place in a busy part of town. We just keep our heads down and do our work from this little corner of Mumbai every single day.
