We are in unit 107 of the Shreeji Chamber, right in the heart of Opera House. If you work in this industry, you’ve probably walked past our building a thousand times. It’s one of those old buildings where you know everyone in the hallway. Our office is small, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. There’s a desk for the paperwork, a couple of stools for when people stop by, and the usual piles of envelopes. We get in early before the heat really starts to kick in. The morning is usually the best time to get things done before the phone starts ringing non-stop. We handle a lot of international stuff, which means sometimes we’re staying late to talk to people in different time zones. It gets tiring, but it’s part of the job. We don’t have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door gets it. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. We’re too busy looking at what’s on the table. It’s a practical way to work. We don't spend money on things that don't matter. As long as the scales are working and the light is good, we are happy enough. It’s just how we run things here.
