Gemalto

Our office is situated in Bandra East at Jyoti Estate, specifically in room 802. Being on the eighth floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise of the street, though you can still hear the trains if the windows are open. Gemalto has been operating from this building for a while. We work on things like digital security and smart cards, which sounds quite technical, and it is. Most of the day involves testing software and making sure the security protocols are actually working. The office is fairly standard with gray desks and some old filing cabinets that we should probably get rid of. We have a small area where we keep a kettle and some biscuits for when the afternoons get long. The building itself is quite old, and the stairs are a bit of a workout if the lift isn’t working, which happens sometimes. We aren't a huge team in this particular branch, so we all know each other pretty well. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, except when we’re debating how to fix a stubborn piece of code. We don't really have any fancy marketing materials or brochures lying around. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get home before the rush hour on the Western Express Highway gets too bad.
