Gem-Plast

We're based in Goregaon West, specifically at the Yogi Industrial Estate on Ram Mandir Road. Our unit number is 227. It’s a busy part of the city, and getting here through the traffic can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We've been at Gem-Plast for many years now. The estate itself has a lot of history, and you can see it in the buildings. We do plastic work here, mostly small and medium-sized stuff. It's a lot of repetitive work, but we make sure every piece is good enough to go out. The workshop gets quite warm in the summer, but we’re used to it. We don't have a big website or do any fancy promotions. Most of our customers are folks we've known for a decade or more. They know where to find us at 227. We just stick to what we know. The machines we use are reliable, though they need a bit of grease and attention every now and then. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. It feels more like a small family than a company sometimes. We have our coffee breaks together and talk about the day. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass walls; it’s a working industrial unit with stacks of material and finished goods waiting to be picked up. That’s just the way it is here.
