Gautam Computers

Gautam Computers is located at Shop No. 1 in Africa House, over in the Topiwala area of Lamington Road. Anyone who knows Mumbai knows that Lamington Road is the heart of the electronics trade. It is always crowded and chaotic, but we like it that way. Our shop is small, like most places around here. We have shelves filled with motherboards, hard drives, and all sorts of cables. There is usually a stack of old monitors in the corner waiting to be looked at. We have been here a while, and we have seen technology change from floppy disks to whatever we are using now. The fans in the shop are always humming to keep the hardware cool. It gets pretty loud with all the shouting from the street outside, but once you are inside, we just focus on the repairs or the sales. We do not have a fancy website or a big staff. We just fix what is broken and sell what people need for their computer builds. Some days are so busy we barely have time to eat lunch. Other days, we sit and chat with the regular customers who come by just to see what is new. Africa House is an old building, and our shop has that lived-in feel. It is a bit messy with wires and parts, but we know where every single screw is kept. It is just a normal computer shop in a busy city.
